I really like this straightener. My hair feels soft and healthy after use. I do use a protectant spray and usually wipe it off after I'm done to avoid any product build up. So far my hair doesn't snag, I can do soft beachy waves by half turning the iron as I pull through my hair. The heat settings are very nice, I like that I can adjust as necessary and it does heat up swiftly. the other feature I appreciate is the cord can turn 360 so you don't get that knotted/kinked cord. I like the pouch for keeping it clean and stored away or packing when traveling. I have not used the glove personally.
